Irrigation Products Sales Representative

Microjet / Gauteng

Position:

The Irrigation Representative will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies required to grow the Microjet product range in the Northern part of South Africa. He/she will be responsible for working with the Microjet Team based in Cape Town in South Africa to support the overall objectives of the company.

Responsibilities:
  • Create a strong preference for Microjet products in the market.
  • Develop an annual strategic plan for accomplishing the company’s objectives.
  • Develop programs to grow market share in the region
  • Develop relationships with roll players in the region and be able to understand customer needs for irrigation products and services
  • Educate and train customers on the benefits of Microjets products and solutions.
Minimum qualifications:
  • 5+ years agricultural and commercial/home irrigation experience.
  • 3+ years irrigation sales experience.

TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Agriplas / NORTHERN REGION
Limpopo or Mpumalanga

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and dynamic person with a post-matric qualification in irrigation design or similar appropriate qualification in agriculture Civil Engineering environment. The ideal candidate will be expected to have in excess of ten years’ experience in agricultural irrigation. You must also be willing to travel often and flexible to be transferred, if necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ●marketing of irrigation products ● issuing of quotations • technical advice ●the design of irrigation systems •training in irrigation systems •support and service delivery to clients

REGIONAL MANAGER: NORTHERN REGION

The ideal candidate is an energetic and dynamic person with a technical aptitude and extensive experience that the technology of the irrigation industry and the design of irrigation systems. A Post-matric qualifications (diploma) in agriculture, civil or hydraulic engineering or irrigation can strengthen your application, but is not a requirement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of technical staff in our Northern Region/service area. Further responsibilities involve support and training of technical irrigation advisors, developing new products, marketing and sales of irrigation systems, equipment and materials, as well as continued maintaining good client liaison and budget control. In exchange for your achievement and contribution to the success and growth of Agriplas, we offer a market-oriented, all-inclusive remuneration package (can be structured according to the individual's personal needs).

Applicants for this position should preferably have a Senior Certificate and at least 5 years proven experience in irrigation and filtration systems, fertilizer dosage equipment and automation. Person must be able to function independently, display good interpersonal relations, excellent communication skills and possess a valid driver's license. Willingness to work long hours during peak season will strengthen your application.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ● issuing of quotes for fertilizer dosage equipment ● installation and maintenance of fertilizer dosage equipment and filtration systems ●providing telephonic technical support ●assists with work in the irrigation workshop ●responsible for automation installations ● ad hoc tasks

Position:
The Irrigation Designer and Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies and tactics required to grow Turf-Ag Agricultural products sales in the Lowveld. He/she will be responsible for working with the Turf-Ag Sales Team in Mpumalanga to support the overall objectives of the company.

 Responsibilities:

  •         Surveying and Design of Agricultural Irrigation systems.

•             Create a strong preference for Turf-Ag products in the market.
•             Develop an annual strategic plan for accomplishing the company’s objectives.
•             Develop programs to grow market share in the region.
•             Achieve Ag Sales goals.
•             Develop relationships with roll players in the region and be able to understand customer  
needs for irrigation products and services.
•             Educate and train customers on the benefits of Turf-Ag’s products and solutions.

Minimum qualifications:
•             Agricultural Irrigation Design Qualification.
•             3+ years agricultural irrigation design experience.
•             3+ years irrigation sales experience.
•             Survey and Mapping experience.
